Citizens are afraid of price increases at all levels, but it is great news that real estate market experts say that real estate will not increase in price with the introduction of the euro. This is exactly what was pointed out in May at the conference held in Opatija and one of the explanations cited is the fact that real estate prices in Croatia have been mostly expressed in euros for a long time, so this market has already set a kind of precedent. At the same time, the euro will additionally protect the value of the investment, that is, it will bring stability through which buyers can be sure, and estimates are that due to the euro, real estate will gain even more value over time. Exchange rate fluctuations will no longer be possible, which automatically means a stronger economy and tourism. The first positive milestone that influenced the expansion of the real estate market in Croatia, experts point out, was our country's entry into the European Union and the second positive milestone, they say, will be the introduction of the euro.
